This page states what DataEase AI actually does with your account and your data, and nothing more. Sign-in is Google-only, so there are 0 passwords stored. Your scan data is yours and exportable, it is never sold, and a downgrade never deletes it. The claims we cannot back are listed too.
Sign-in is Google-only. Email and password registration is disabled server-side, so DataEase AI never asks for a password, never stores one, and holds 0 password records. There is no verification email to wait for and no password reset flow for an attacker to abuse.
Credential stuffing and leaked password databases are the two most common ways a small SaaS account gets taken over, and both of them need a password to exist. Ours does not. There is no hashed-password table in DataEase AI, so there is nothing of that kind to steal or crack, and no "forgot password" link that can be turned into an account takeover path.
Access to your workspace is controlled by your Google account, so whatever protections you already enforce there stand at the door. If your organisation cannot use Google sign-in, raise it before you buy, because there is currently no second option.
You do. Every scan, audit, opportunity and report belongs to your brand and is exportable, including the history behind the last 6 scans that market share is computed from. DataEase AI does not sell your data and does not resell it to third parties.
What DataEase AI holds on your behalf is the working material of the platform: your brand domain and aliases, the competitors and keywords you track, the questions your buyers ask, the results of each scan, the audited content of your own public pages, and, if you turn on crawler monitoring, records of which AI crawlers fetched which of your URLs. That is the output of runs you paid for, and you can take it with you.
Read the DataEase AI privacy policy for the formal statement and the DataEase AI terms of service for the contract itself.
A downgrade never deletes data. Entitlements gate creating new things, not keeping what exists. Dropping from Business to Growth caps you at 3 brands and 10 competitors per brand going forward, and Pay As You Go at 1 brand and 5 competitors, without removing what you already have.
This matters more than it sounds. AI visibility work is judged over time, in matched pairs of days before and after a fix, and nothing is judged before 7 days. A tool that wiped your history the moment you moved down a tier would destroy the only asset that makes the measurement meaningful.
Credits follow the same spirit: pack credits roll over and never expire, plan credits reset each cycle, and paid schedules pause and auto-resume when credits run out. If you are leaving entirely, export first, then close the account. Limits are itemised on the DataEase AI pricing page.
They come back. When a run fails, DataEase AI refunds the credits. Every scan also shows its exact price before it runs, and re-auditing a single page after a fix costs 1 credit rather than re-running the full 40-page crawl.
This belongs on a security page because unpredictable spend is a trust problem, not just a billing one. Anyone signing off on an autonomous agent workforce wants the worst case for an unattended schedule. Here it is a paused schedule and a refunded credit, not a surprise invoice. The DataEase AI product changelog records when each behaviour shipped.
The crawler logging Worker runs on your own Cloudflare zone, under your account, not ours. It forwards crawler requests only, so DataEase AI can report which of 28 AI crawlers fetched which page. Setup takes about 5 minutes and the Cloudflare free plan is enough.
Three things follow from the Worker living on your zone rather than ours. You deploy it, so you can read exactly what it does before it runs. You own it, so you can change or delete it at any moment without asking us. And because it forwards crawler requests only, what gets logged is bot traffic against your public URLs.
The Worker is optional. If your review will not permit it, you lose recrawl cadence and coverage gap reporting and keep everything else. The capability is explained in the guide to AI crawler analytics.
Anything it cannot prove. DataEase AI does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or GDPR certification, does not claim third-party penetration testing, and publishes no uptime SLA. That is 0 certification badges on this page, deliberately, because a badge you have not earned is worse than none.
We are a small team building a Brand Presence Intelligence platform, and the honest position is that those formal assurance programmes are not in place today. We are also not publishing encryption implementation details or availability guarantees on a marketing page, because a technical claim in that form is either audited or it is decoration.
If your procurement process requires any of them, ask us directly rather than infer an answer from a page like this one. We would rather lose a deal to a truthful "not yet" than win one on a claim that falls apart in a vendor questionnaire.
The DataEase AI team, through the contact page. Vendor security questionnaires, data processing questions and anything a procurement review needs go to 1 route, and you get a direct answer about current status rather than a badge you cannot verify.
Tell us what your review requires and what evidence would satisfy it. If we have it, you get it. If we do not, you get a clear no. Use the DataEase AI contact page to reach the team.
The 6 answers below cover what buyers ask before signing: whether any password is stored, which certifications DataEase AI does not hold, whether data is sold, what a downgrade removes, whether the Cloudflare Worker is required, and what happens to credits when a run fails.
These 3 pages answer what usually follows a security review: what each of the 3 plans costs and gates, what shipped recently and when, and how to reach the DataEase AI team with a questionnaire or a data processing question.
Credit costs, brand and seat limits, and exactly which entitlements change when you move between tiers.
